Privacy Policy

Effective 17 October 2026 · Site Spark Technologies LLP

1. Who is responsible for your data

Site Spark Technologies LLP, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, operates Helzzy and is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here, under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

2. What we collect

  • Account details: your name, mobile number, optional email address and profile photo.
  • Location: the city, area or PIN code you enter, and your device location only if you allow it, so we can show care nearby.
  • Care details: the kind of care you need or offer, availability, rates, experience and, where you choose to share them, health notes about the person receiving care.
  • Verification documents: identity documents and, for medical care, qualifications you upload.
  • Messages and bookings: conversations, booking requests, reviews and reports made on Helzzy.
  • Technical data: device and browser type, IP address and basic usage logs, used to keep the service secure.

3. How we use it

  • to create your account and sign you in with a one-time password;
  • to show your profile, match Care Seekers with Caregivers, and run messaging and bookings;
  • to verify users and keep the Platform safe, including investigating reports and fraud;
  • to send you service messages by SMS, email or notification;
  • to meet our legal obligations.

4. Consent

We process your personal data with your consent, which you give when you sign up and when you choose to share optional details, or where the DPDP Act otherwise allows it. You can withdraw consent at any time from your account settings or by writing to us; this may mean we can no longer provide parts of the service.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

  • with other users, to the extent your public profile and bookings need it (for example, a Caregiver sees a Care Seeker's area and care request, not their full address, until a booking is agreed);
  • with service providers who run parts of Helzzy for us, such as hosting, database, SMS and email delivery, under contracts that protect your data;
  • with authorities when Indian law requires it.

6. Storage and security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit, and access within our team is limited to people who need it. Verification documents are kept in private storage and are never shown on public profiles. We keep data for as long as your account is open and for a limited time afterwards where the law requires it.

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

  • ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct or update it, most of which you can do from your profile;
  • ask us to erase your data and close your account;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to;
  • raise a grievance with us, and then with the Data Protection Board of India.

Write to support@helzzy.com to use any of these rights.

8. Children

Helzzy accounts are for adults only. Information about a child is added by their parent or guardian for the purpose of arranging care, and we do not use it for tracking or advertising.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you in the app or by SMS or email before the change takes effect.

10. Grievance Officer

In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can raise any complaint about content on Helzzy, your account or your personal data with our Grievance Officer:

  • Grievance Officer, Site Spark Technologies LLP

We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days of receipt.
